To counterbalance our rushed digital lifestyle and pursue time for daily contemplation in an intuitive way, I developed a series of tactile objects that evoke physical interaction.
The elegant objects made of hand-blown glass, are hollow vessels filled with water and colored pigments. By their organic shape and playful appearance they trigger the curiosity of the user; They invite you to handle them and play with them. When spinning the object gently or moving it up and down, tthe object the pigments will sink down and the water becomes transparent again.
These objects remind us of the candid fun we had as a child, when we fully got caught up in the moment. They are inspired by old-fashioned children toys, hourglasses, and the ever-changing elements in nature.
